Sara Sasso Toolin – Italy 🇮🇹

Sara Sasso Toolin brings a distinctly international perspective to the sport of dressage, blending European tradition with American ambition. Born and raised in Ancona, Italy, Sara discovered her passion for horses at an early age and devoted herself wholeheartedly to the equestrian world. Her journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence, shaped by years of training with some of the sport's most respected horsemen, including Johann Hinnemann, Coby and Marlies van Baalen, Anna Merveldt, and Olympic coach Ernst Hoyos.

Originally successful in international eventing, Sara made the transition to dressage in 2008 and quickly established herself as a talented competitor. Since relocating to Texas in 2013, she has successfully competed through the Grand Prix level, earning numerous championship titles, USDF Silver and Bronze Medals, and consistently outstanding scores across the levels. Her thoughtful approach to training and dedication to developing both horses and riders have earned her a respected place within the American dressage community.

In 2023, Sara co-founded ForteBella Equestrian, a premier training and educational facility dedicated to combining classical European horsemanship with modern sport horse management. Through ForteBella, she mentors riders of all levels while continuing to train and compete her own horses, fostering an environment where excellence and horsemanship go hand in hand.

Today, Sara is pursuing an ambitious goal: representing her native Italy at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Balancing her roles as an international competitor, entrepreneur, trainer, and mother, she exemplifies the dedication, resilience, and elegance that define the modern equestrian.

Sara's commitment to craftsmanship, partnership, and continual growth reflects the values at the heart of Uniqcorn Exceptionnel.
