Catherine Haddad Staller – Lebanon 🇱🇧
Catherine Haddad Staller is one of the most respected figures in international dressage, combining a distinguished competitive career with a lifelong passion for developing horses and riders. A two-time FEI World Cup Finals competitor and former U.S. Team rider, she has represented the United States at Nations Cups and now competes internationally for Lebanon, honoring her family heritage.
Renowned for her classical approach to horsemanship, Catherine spent nearly two decades based in Germany, training with some of Europe's leading masters while producing numerous horses to Grand Prix level. Today, she serves as CEO of NorCordia, an international sport horse enterprise with locations in Kolding, Denmark, and Wellington, Florida, specializing in the selection, development, and management of exceptional dressage horses while creating unique opportunities for owners and investors. Alongside her leadership role, Catherine operates her own training and coaching program from her bases in New Jersey and Wellington, Florida, where she develops horses and riders with an emphasis on harmony, correct fundamentals, and long-term success.
Her influence extends far beyond the competition arena. Catherine bred and developed the exceptional mare Vianne, who went on to achieve international success with Kate Shoemaker. At the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, the pair earned an individual bronze medal in the Grade IV FEI Grand Prix Freestyle, a testament to Catherine's vision and dedication to producing world-class equine athletes.
The next chapter is already underway. Together with her mare Eleven, Catherine has qualified for the 2026 Asian Games, an important milestone in her pursuit of the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
