Emily Donaldson – USA 🇺🇸
Meet Uniqcorn Exceptionnel Team Rider Emily Donaldson. Emily Donaldson is an accomplished FEI International dressage competitor, trainer, and USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalist whose career reflects a passion for classical horsemanship, exceptional training, and competitive excellence. Having successfully competed through the FEI Grand Prix level, Emily brings extensive experience, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the horse-and-rider partnership to every aspect of her work.
As the owner and head trainer of Emily Donaldson Dressage, LLC, Emily operates a boutique dressage training program based at her own Sewickley Farm in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, with a seasonal winter location at Persaud Legacy Farm in Reddick, Florida. Her program is dedicated to thoughtfully developing horses and riders, from building strong foundations to achieving success at the highest levels of the sport. Emily’s students are successful Adult Amateurs, 5* professional event riders, and top hunter equitation riders. She’s also a Dressage coach for the Cheshire Pony Club. Her ability to connect with a broad range of students is rare and what makes her special.
Throughout her career, Emily has successfully developed horses through the levels while guiding riders toward significant competitive milestones, including USDF medals and championship achievements. In 2013 she was given an un-started 3 1/2 year old for $1 which she broke and eventually trained to Grand Prix after spending several years eventing at the lower levels for fun. Together Emily and Beaujolais 75 have been ranked in the FEI World Rankings, competed at Dressage Finals and have been known to occasionally hack bareback. Emily’s up and coming horses Princesse and Supersonic (owned by the Sewickley Farm Partnership) are getting closer to making their FEI debut.
